Although the title of my upcoming memoir includes the phase he made popular, Black Power, I must admit, I have not yet read his masterpiece memoir, although it has graced my bookcase for quite some time. Wish his book had been out when I was in college, and had the benefit of a class devoted to it. Maybe it’s one of the books I’ll snuggle up to during the pendency of the country’s shutdown.
