What I’m reading now…
Still on this Journey: The Vision and Mission of Dr. Ron Daniels (2019). I am so thrilled that Dr. Daniels’ long-awaited memoir, focusing on his insights, values and philosophies, is now available for the public at large to digest. His autobiographical acknowledgements in the front of his book are off the chain, and his Vantage Point essays and articles are super rich in information. From his days as head of the National Black Independent Political Party, running Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaign, running for president himself, envisioning the Institute of the Black World 21st Century, to convening the National African American Reparations Commission, Still on This Journey is a great legacy piece from a long-distance runner who has greatly influenced me and my upcoming memoir #BlackPowerBlackLawyer!
